On a YouTube live chat, guitarist/vocalist Shaun Morgan confirmed that Seether’s next album is finished. Over the last 10 months or so – they recorded 21 songs and whittled that down to 13 to be released. They started out with about 45 songs.
Seether recorded all the tracks in a matter of 17 days. Morgan said, “It’s a testament to everybody having had the demos for a while and having learned it, so by the time we got in there, we didn't waste any time.”
According to Morgan, the songs are the strongest they’re written, and he also co-produced the album.
Look for the album to be released sometime in August.
