Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar’s tequila business suffered a major blow when two freight trucks carrying $1 million in product were stolen in Laredo, Texas. The missing trucks held 24,240 bottles of Santo Blanco and Reposado, along with a specially crafted Extra AƱejo. Hagar’s rep described the theft as “an organized crime effort,” and the singer himself said in a statement: “For a growing company like Santo, it’s really a shame for something like this to happen in the middle of our strongest year to date and right before the holidays!” Fieri is offering a $10,000 reward for information on the stolen trucks, and stated that the incident feels “like a movie.” (People)
