During a stop on her Patterns tour at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on Sunday (February 23), Kelsea Ballerini called out fans who verbally slammed her ex-husband, Morgan Evans. The incident occurred during a performance of Ballerini’s song, “Penthouse,” which features emotional lyrics about moving on after the end of a relationship. After fans shouted obscenities directed at Evans during a pause in the song, Ballerini halted the performance and asked everyone to please move on. A fan shot TikTok video captured Ballerini saying, “Seriously, we’re three years past it, everything’s fine now. I sing the song for you now, it’s not about me anymore. For everyone that’s moving forward with their life, will you sing this with me?” Ballerini, who is now in a relationship with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes, continues her tour in Fort Worth, Texas on Wednesday (February 26).
