First Official ‘TRON: Ares’ Trailer Features New Music By Nine Inch Nails

The first official trailer for TRON: Ares, a sequel to the 1982 TRON and 2012’s TRON: Legacy, was released on Saturday. The film features an original score by Nine Inch Nails, with the Grammy and Oscar-winning duo of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross officially composing the movie’s soundtrack. A brief clip of NIN’s music is featured in the trailer, with this project marking the band’s first proper release in five years, and comes ahead of their highly-anticipated 2025 Peel It Back Tour. The movie stars Jared Leto as Ares, alongside a supporting cast including Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, and Jeff Bridges, who also appeared in both of the previous TRON films.
