Sangamon County Circuit Clerk Joe Roesch’s office is hosting a passport registration day this Saturday, April 5, at VFW Post 755, located at 2211 Old Jacksonville Rd.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon, providing an easy way for residents to obtain this essential travel document. Usual passport fees will apply, and current processing times can be checked at travel.state.gov.
Applicants attending the event at VFW Post 755 must bring a certified copy of their birth certificate, a valid photo ID, an approved passport photo, and certified copies of any court orders for name changes, custody, or adoption decrees.
