Pedestrian Struck by Train Along 10th Street Tracks

A pedestrian was struck by a train along the 10th Street railroad tracks near the 2000 block of E Converse Street on Friday.

First responders rushed to the scene and traffic at 19th Street in the North Grand Avenue area and north to E. Cummins Avenue was closed for a time.

The condition of the victim and the reason for the incident are currently being investigated.
