The Springfield Park District Board has scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday to approve an agreement to transfer Robin Roberts Stadium to the City of Springfield, which in turn would transfer the baseball stadium to the not-for-profit Friends of Robin Roberts Stadium.
The Park District Board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 Wednesday evening at the district offices at Bunn Park. The Springfield City Council is scheduled to give the agreement its second reading during tonight’s Committee of the Whole meeting.
