This year’s Illinois State Fair drew the second-largest crowd in its history according to numbers released on Tuesday by Governor JB Pritzker.
This year’s attendance of 723,079 was surpassed only by last year’s record of 773,000 and is about 16,000 higher than in 2023.
This year’s fair featured a grandstand record crowd of 15,532 for the concert by Megan Moroney.
The Illinois Department of Agriculture reported record attendance at this year’s DuQuoin State Fair of more than 282,000.
