During a new interview with “Cutter’s Rockcast,” guitarist Mark Tremonti revealed that he plans to start working on new Creed music with singer Scott Stapp in mid-2026, following the success of their 2023 reunion and ongoing tours. While the band hasn’t released new material since 2009’s Full Circle, Tremonti has been developing numerous riffs and ideas for a batch of new songs. “I’ve been working real hard on trying to put together new ideas so I can get together with Scott and start working,” Tremonti shared, while cautioning impatient fans that “it would probably have to be the middle of next year before we start doing that.” Despite their recent busy touring schedule, Creed is motivated to create new material to drive interest in future tours, while getting ready for their annual “Creedmas” shows coming up in December. Tremonti’s other band, Alter Bridge, is preparing to release their self-titled new album on January 9, followed by a 2026 US tour kicking off in April after a series of European dates early next year.
