A Springfield man charged with concealing the death of his wife has been denied pre-trial release.
59-year-old Adam Corbin is in the Sangamon County Jail. The remains of his wife, 65-year-old Nancy Corbin, were found in a waste container in a locked shed on November 19.
Prosecutors said they believe she died one to two years ago and Adam Corbin concealed the body to continue to collect Social Security.
