Cook County man identified in robbery of Hy-Vee, crash

A Cook County man has been charged with aggravated robbery and robbery of a Springfield grocery store Tuesday.Edward Franklin, 21, of Riverdale is custody of the Sangamon County Jail. His bond was set at $75,000 on Wednesday.Shortly after 10 a.m., Franklin approached an employee at the liquor counter of the Hy-Vee, 2115 S. MacArthur Blvd., and demanded money.
