The Kidzeum in downtown Springfield received a Project Grant from the National Science Foundation, one of the nation’s leading funders of science education.
This grant enables Kidzeum to co-design a participatory STEAM center focused on hands-on learning, problem-solving skills, and creating a model for community-based STEAM education that prepares young minds for successful careers.
Leah Wilson, executive director of the Kidzeum adds that “ Being selected for this funding reflects national confidence in Kidzeum’s approach to learning through play”
