Christian County authorities have released details of a Friday crash of two semi-tractor-trailers that closed Route 48 near Clarksdale for about six hours.
Taylorville firefighters and other agencies worked for two hours to extract one of the drivers.
The drivers, 59-year-old Ronald Rockhold of Decatur and 30-year-old Seth Bowman of Taylorville, were taken to an area hospital.
Bowman was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
