Residence struck in Sunday morning shooting

Springfield Police recovered at least 18 shell casings in the aftermath of a shooting on East Cook Street between 15th and 16th streets Sunday morning.SPD Lt. Joe Phillips said a suspect who had exited the Fresh Express at 1529 E. Cook St. fired on a vehicle passing by.One round went through a window of a house at 1600 E.
