Lincoln Land Community College has named the head of a nearby junior college as its next president.
Dr. Curt Oldfield will begin his duties on July 1.
Oldfield has been president of Spoon River College for nearly 14 years.
He joined that college as an agriculture faculty member and later advanced to dean of instruction.
He moved to Northeast Iowa Community College as vice president of instruction before returning to Spoon River College as its president.
Oldfield will take over for Dr. Charlotte Warren, who has been LLCC president for 20 years and will retire at the end of June.
