Ward 2 Alderman Shawn Gregory apologized for his outburst at the end of last week’s council meeting, after which the session was abruptly adjourned.
Gregory left his seat at the council table and shouted in the direction of former police chief Mike Walton, who had just spoken during public comment against criticism of law enforcement.
Gregory added that he received several racist messages after the meeting
