Meet Clover: A Little Black Cat with a Big Heart 🌱🐾

If you’ve been dreaming of adding a feline friend to your life, let us introduce you to Clover—a charming, one-year-old black domestic shorthair currently waiting for her forever home at the Animal Protective League.

Clover is at that perfect in-between age where kitten curiosity meets adult calm. At just one year old, she’s already grown into her sleek, shiny coat and soulful eyes, but she still carries that playful spark that makes young cats such a joy to be around. Whether she’s batting at a toy, watching birds from a window, or curling up for a cozy nap, Clover has a gentle way of making a house feel like home. She is also a tripod!! But the three legs to don’t stop her from loving!!

Clover is available for adoption now, and she’s patiently waiting for someone to notice her and say, “That’s my cat.” If you’ve been considering adoption, this could be your sign. Visiting the Animal Protective League to meet Clover in person might just be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Sometimes, the best things come in small, quiet packages—and Clover is proof of that. With a name that symbolizes good luck and a personality full of warmth, she’s ready to bring joy into her forever home. Could that home be yours? If you are interested in adopting him, call the APL at 217-544-7387 or fill out an application at apl-shelter.org! 🍀🐱
