Add another act to the Illinois State Fair Grandstand lineup but this time the show will be free.
The State Fair announced Wednesday that the Classic Rock band .38 Special will be playing a free show at the Grandstand on August 17th.
Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello had this to say about the show “Bringing in a band with the legacy and energy of 38 Special for a free show is a great way to make the Grandstand accessible and memorable for everyone.”
While the show with .38 Special on Monday August 17th will be free, attendees still must go through security screening prior to entering the Grandstand.
