A 17-year-old male was arrested Tuesday night in Springfield following a report of shots fired and a brief pursuit on foot.
The pursuit took place in the 1100 block of East Spruce Street. Officers were able to recover three handguns, handgun shell casings and a shell casing from a rifle at the scene.
The teen was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon
