A new family room has opened to support loved ones of patients at HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House Family Room was unveiled on Monday.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois partnered with the hospital to remodel the space near the pediatric intensive care unit.
The family room includes updated furnishings, a bathroom with a shower, washer, dryer, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and complimentary food items and snacks. Ronald McDonald House Charities will manage the room.
