The Springfield City Council approved an agreement between Memorial Behavioral Health and the Springfield Fire Department to operate an emergency medical apparatus dedicated to responding to mental health or drug-related emergencies.
Under the agreement, Memorial will ensure at least one dedicated crisis specialist is available at all times to support the deployment of the Fire Department’s Behavioral Health Outreach and Liaison Team.
