Springfield City Treasurer Colleen Redpath Feger announced she is seeking a second term.
Redpath Feger served nearly two decades with the city, including years as deputy treasurer, before her election as treasurer in 2023.
She worked in the Springfield banking industry after graduating from Ursuline Academy and Lincoln Land Community College.
Redpath Feger highlighted her investment strategy that has returned nearly $31 million in investment income in her term, and her focus on modernization and customer service as well as recovering outstanding debt to the city.
Candidates are allowed to begin passing nominating petitions today for the April 2027 consolidated election.
