Woodward Community Media is proud to announce that we brought home three honors at the 2026 Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards, held Wednesday evening at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield. After being recognized as finalists in multiple categories earlier this year, our stations and team members were honored with three Silver Dome Awards celebrating excellence in Illinois broadcasting.

For the second consecutive year, Josh Roberts was recognized as Illinois’ Best Local Radio Personality, a testament to his connection with listeners, community involvement, and dedication to entertaining Central Illinois each and every day.
A Night to Celebrate Illinois Broadcasting
The Silver Dome Awards ceremony was hosted by 104.5 WFMB’s John Spalding and Leah Guffey, who helped lead an evening celebrating the best in broadcasting from across the state. Guests were also treated to a special performance by Isaiah Case, a Jacksonville native and contestant from Season 22 of American Idol.
