Boosie Badazz was shot in the leg this past weekend in Dallas — just days after his friend and frequent collaborator Mo3 was shot and killed. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say that Boosie was shot on Saturday (November 14th) after stopping by a venue to pay his respects to Mo3.
At some point, someone opened fire on Boosie's vehicle and one of the bullets struck Boosie in the leg. The shooters drove off and Boosie and his team went to the hospital. He was treated for a gunshot wound below the knee.
MORE ON MO3'S SHOOTING DEATH
Meanwhile, more details are being released about Mo3's shooting death. TMZ reports that the rapper had been feuding with another rapper but it is not clear if there is any connection between that and his slaying.
Sources close to the situation say that Mo3 had left a female companion's home Wednesday morning (November 11th) and noticed that he was being watched. Sources don't know who the person was but they said that they followed the rapper in the vehicle from the home to a gas station.
Mo3 decided to jump on the I-23 freeway in an attempt to get away from the vehicle. He tried to get around traffic but ended up crashing on the side of the road. Mo3 then got out of the car and ran, but the shooter chased him and shot him in the back of his head. He later died in the hospital.
No arrests have been made and cops have not indentified a suspect yet. No word on if Mo and Boosie's shootings are related.
