During the HBOMax Friends: The Reunion, Lady Gaga joined the cast for some conversation and song. While Lisa Kudrow reflected back on “Smelly Cat,” a song her character, Phoebe used to sing, Gaga joined in.
Partway through the tune, Lady Gaga, dressed in a Phoebe type outfit, down to the long blonde hair with the two little messy buns — opened the door to the coffee shop. With her own guitar in hand, she said, “I love 'Smelly Cat'! It's one of my favorite songs. You mind if I take 'Smelly Cat' for a spin?”
After the two finished their duet, Kudrow said in a very Phoebe manner: “I still think it's better when it's just me.”
In a tender moment that followed, Gaga thanked Kudrow for being the different character she played on Friends.
