The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office shared the results of their Labor Day safety detail on Tuesday.
Over the Labor Day holiday the detail made 413 traffic stops issuing 342 citations.
Included in those citations there were 236 for speeding, 41 for seat belt violations, 16 distracted driving citations and 12 violations for driving on revoked or suspended license. The detail also made 3 DUI arrests.
