The federal corruption trial for State Rep. Carol Ammons and her husband Champaign County Clerk Aaron Ammons will now begin on December 7th.
Ammons and her husband had originally been scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on November 3rd and the trial to begin on November 17th. The couple filed motions to move those dates as November 3rd is election day.
Judge Colleen Lawless granted the motions.
