Britney Spears Calls Kevin Federline’s Interview ‘Hurtful’

Britney Spears slammed Kevin Federline’s recent claim that her sons are avoiding her, partially due to the embarrassment they’ve suffered after seeing her nude photos posted on Instagram.

The embattled pop star wrote on Instagram Stories Saturday (August 6th) that the interview her ex gave to the Daily Mail was “Hurtful.”

She added, “It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children. As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone .. It concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram … I gave them everything. l’Il say it … My mother told me ‘You should GIVE them to their dad.’ I’m sharing this because I can. Have a good day folks!!!”

Spears continued on an Instagram post, writing, “As their step mom says ‘whatever is happening outside this home has nothing to do with this home’ … I would like to share the DOOR to outside is a token to the WHITE GATES I’ve been kept from for 15 years … the conservatorship has only been over for 8 months !!!!”

Federline said in the interview, set to air on ITV in the UK, that their teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, “decided they are not seeing Britney right now,’ and chose not to go to their wedding.

The former “Mr. Spears” also said that the nude selfies his ex-wife posts online make things difficult for their sons. He added, “I try to explain to them, 'Look, maybe that's just another way she tries to express herself.' But that doesn't take away from the fact of what it does to them. It's tough. I can't imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.'

To add insult to injury he also claimed he “would absolutely welcome Jamie Spears back into the boys’ lives.”

He said, “I don’t have any hard feelings towards Jamie Spears. People make mistakes. I feel bad for him. I feel like he's been put through the wringer.”
