Netflix viewers got to see Foreigner premier a new version of one of their classics. As part of the promotion for the new rom-com, The Lovebirds, the band re-recorded “I Want To Know What Love Is.”
In the clip, the veteran rockers performed the power ballad via Zoom. Released at the end of 1984, the Gold-selling single was a two-week #1 hit.
The Lovebirds tells the story of a couple's magical first date, which takes a hilariously dark left turn after they accidentally witness a murder and get framed for the crime. A video of the band’s performance with clips of the show is posted online.
