City Water, Light and Power announced that beginning on Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 a.m., the eastbound lanes of South Grand Avenue are set to be closed between MLK Drive and 18th Street for tree removal work done by Public Works.
The closure is anticipated to end Friday, June 27.
In the event of inclement weather, CWLP noted that the work would be rescheduled.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for alternative routes, slow down, and be aware of crews and equipment in the work zone.
