Republican nominee for governor Darren Bailey is moving into a Chicago apartment.
Capitol News Illinois reports Bailey has selected a place on the city’s near South Side to give him easier access to city and suburban voters.
Bailey says he is focusing more on the Chicago area during this year’s campaign after receiving just 15 percent of the vote in the city in 2022.
Bailey lived in the building formerly known as the John Hancock Center during the 2022 campaign.
