Storms passed through Central Illinois on Monday morning and early afternoon with limited impact, although high winds caused more damage as the system continued east.
Several warnings and watches were posted, although a severe thunderstorm watch was cut short.
Reports of storm impact included downed trees, limbs and power lines.
The roof at Deland-Weldon Elementary School in DeWitt County was damaged.
Wind gusts of up to 80 miles per hour were reported near Warrensburg.
Hail of up to an inch and a half was reported in the Springfield area.
