A Virden man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing child sexual abuse material.
The Illinois Attorney General’s office said 38-year-old Jacob Rogers was sentenced on Tuesday in Macoupin County court for dissemination of child pornography involving children under 13 years old and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Rogers was arrested after a search of his residence in April of 2022.
