An individual in Quincy Illinois just got a whole lot richer.
The Illinois Lottery sent out a release stating that a ticket bought at a Hy-Vee Gas Station in Quincy Illinois won the $1.04 billion dollar Powerball Jackpot in Wednesday Night’s drawing.
The jackpot is the second-largest lottery prize ever won in Illinois.
In addition to the life-changing win for the player, the lucky retailer will receive a $500,000 cash bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
