A suspect in a double homicide in Kansas City Missouri on Sunday was found dead in Decatur on Wednesday.
Missouri State Highway Patrol said the suspect — 48-year-old Ryan Munson — was tracked to Decatur, and they worked with both the Decatur Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service to take him into custody on an active arrest warrant.
When authorities went to serve the warrant, they found Munson dead inside a RV in the area of 33rd Street and Wabash Avenue. Munson appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation into Munson’s death is being conducted by Decatur Police, while the MHSP continues to investigate the double homicide Munson is accused of.
