A Decatur woman died on Sunday in a Springfield hospital after a head-on collision a week earlier in Forsyth that killed the other driver.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office said Sangamon County authorities notified them that 63-year-old Angela Miller died Sunday morning in HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
Investigators said Milller was driving a pickup truck east of Maroa-Forsyth Grade School on September 6 that witnesses reported was traveling erratically and at high speed before striking a Cadillac Escalade head-on.
A passenger in the Cadillac, 53-year-old Michael Spencer of Clinton, died at the scene.
