Michael Jackson Biopic Starring Nephew Comes Out April 2025

The Michael Jackson biopic Michael, directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring MJ's nephew Jaafar Jackson, will be released on April 18, 2025. It's set to begin production next week. Graham King (Bohemian Rhapsody) will produce, along with the co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate. Veteran screenwriter John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator) penned the script. The official synopsis promises “a riveting and honest portrayal of the brilliant yet complicated man who became the King of Pop.” It's unknown how (or if) the movie will address the sexual assault allegations that dogged his career.
