An Illinois agency has created a data dashboard for measles amid an ongoing outbreak that has spread across the U.S. The Illinois Department of Public Health launched a Measles Outbreak Simulator Dashboard that aims to help school officials as well as the public assess the potential severity of any outbreaks of measles in the state.

The dashboard “makes it easy for the public to find out the measles vaccination rate in any school in Illinois, public or private, and to determine the risk of a child being exposed to measles if a case is introduced in their school.

The dashboard shares vaccination rates at schools and shows a given school’s risk for an outbreak by using school vaccination and enrollment data.
