Beginning Monday, May 12th, North Fifth Street will be closed along a stretch between Eastman & North Grand Avenues in order for City Water Light & Power’s to repair a damaged water service line in the 1200 block. The closure runs south from St. Joseph’s School to the 5th & N. Grand intersection.
Impacted lanes will remain closed until road surface repairs are complete.
A detour route will be posted at Eastman Avenue for area motorists. People driving through the area should plan for alternative routes, always slow down, and be aware of crews and equipment in work zones.
