Amazon has launched a new distribution center in Springfield.
The facility began operations on October 9th and is currently hiring to prepare for the holiday season.
The center is part of Amazon’s Rural Super Rural Network, designed to expedite deliveries in smaller communities. The center is located near the intersection of Bissell Road and Dirksen Parkway.
