Instead of ‘take your shoes off at the door’ it might be ‘can I take your temperature?’ if you go to a family members house this holiday season.
New survey find 30% of potential holiday party host will do temperature checks as guest arrive. More than half say they’ll also enforce strict social distancing rules. Nearly a third say their party will be outside.
For those hosting an in-person event, it will be small. The survey found 64% will have just 4 of their immediate family members this year.
4 in 10 say they will just do a virtual Thanksgiving or Christmas this year due to Covid-19 concerns. 40% would rather celebrate virtually with their elderly relatives this year. 37% feel the same when it comes to extended family.

NEW YORK – Everything is more complicated nowadays, and that includes hosting a party or holiday get together. A new survey of 2,000 Americans finds parties are going to be very different this holiday season. Thirty percent of respondents plan on setting up a mandatory “temperature check” at their front door for all guests.
