Springfield man busted by DIRT team for second time this year

A 46-year-old Springfield man was busted Friday for the second time this year by the Sangamon County Sheriff’s office’s Drug Interdiction and Response Team (DIRT).The DIRT team executed a search warrant on the home of James Dyer, 46, 1400 Mathew Street, at 6:19 a.m. Friday morning.Dyer was found in possession of five grams of meth, a gram of heroin, numerous unidentified prescription pills, a taser and $3,440.He was later charged with delivery of […]
