The Logan County Board on Wednesday voted to send development of an ordinance regulating data centers back to the county’s Zoning Board of Appeals.
The Logan County Board did not extend a current moratorium on data center construction as an ordinance is being developed that would regulate them.
Some residents asked the board to wait for state guidelines on the centers to be finalized.
More discussion on data centers and regulation is expected at a special meeting of the Logan County Zoning Board on May 13.
