The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected a bid from President Donald Trump to restrict mail-in ballots for the midterm elections.
The ruling allows states to continue mail-in balloting procedures that election officials say would be impossible to overhaul with the midterms just weeks away.
The Trump administration plan would have required a uniform envelope style and online portals for eligible voters.
