Several local organizations have received automated external defibrillators through an HSHS St. John’s Foundation program.
The 10 local groups received the AEDs on Tuesday at HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular in Springfield.
Prairie Cardiovascular Director of Operations Mitch Rogers said the program provides the life-saving devices for locations and agencies that otherwise would not be able to afford them.
The AEDs were funded by donations from the McGraw family in honor of Rick McGraw.
