A major water main break led to an immediate early dismissal for Glenwood Intermediate and Glenwood Middle School on Tuesday.
Parents were asked to pick up their kids at their earliest convenience. Students whose parents could not make it to pick up their children were transported to Glenwood High School, where they were supervised in the auditorium.
Any students who remained at school and were not picked up were sent home on their regular bus schedule.
All after-school activities taking place at GIS and GMS were canceled for Oct. 20.
