Your commute on Wednesday may be interrupted as Carpenter Street will be closed between 4th and 7th Streets for road construction.
In addition to the Carpenter Street closure, 6th Street will remain closed north of Madison, and 5th Street will be closed at Miller. Detour routes will be posted.
The Carpenter Street closure is expected to be just a single day one.
After the conclusion of the work, construction on Carpenter Street will shift to the south side of the roadway, resulting in changes to the current traffic control. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during these closures.
